MAP Enforcement

MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) enforcement is the process by which a brand monitors its authorized and unauthorized sellers to ensure no one advertises a product below a pre-agreed minimum price.

MAP policies are legal agreements between a brand and its resellers that set a floor on how low a price can be advertised publicly. Unlike a fixed retail price, MAP is not about what a seller charges at checkout — it governs the publicly displayed price before a customer adds to cart.

MAP enforcement requires continuous monitoring across thousands of seller listings on marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Google Shopping. Manual enforcement — checking listings by hand and emailing violators — fails at scale because violations happen 24/7 and can spread quickly through algorithmic repricers.

GetStoreIntel detects MAP violations within minutes of them appearing and can trigger automated alert workflows so your team can act before the violation cascades across your entire retail channel.
